Standard Application Steps

• Surface Preparation: For concrete roofs, ensure it is clean and dust-free. For metal/corrugated roofs, remove any loose rust, peeling old paint, and tighten all loose screws.

• Detail Reinforcement (Crucial for Metal Roofs): Apply a generous layer of the red rubber coating over all seams, overlapping joints, and screw heads. Immediately embed a reinforcing polyester fabric over these wet areas and brush over it to ensure it is fully saturated.

• First Coat Application: Apply the first uniform coat using a roller or airless sprayer. Allow it to cure completely (typically 8-12 hours depending on weather).

• Second Coat Application: Apply the second coat crosswise (perpendicular) to the first coat. Ensure the final layer achieves a seamless, thick, and highly elastic rubber membrane.

• Q: Does this coating require a protective cement layer on top?A: No. It is an "Exposed" coating. Its UV-resistant formula allows it to be directly exposed to the sun without degrading.
